Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your private guide and transferred to your hotel. Upon arrival, our local guide will welcome you and explain safety guidelines and responsible practices before heading to the ocean.

Your adventure begins with a visit to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. As you explore, you’ll see elephants using the baobab trunks as water sources and witness wildlife flocking to the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. Be prepared to see large gatherings of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and more in this picturesque, rugged landscape.

Around day time you will arrive at Serengeti National Park. Enjoy an exhilarating half day game drive as you drive to the park’s breathtaking landscapes. Known for its incredible wildlife spectacle, the Serengeti is known for its migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and countless zebras. Witness the raw beauty of nature as these animals bravely cross crocodile-infested waters, giving birth to over 8,000 calves each day.

Following another delicious african breakfast, dive deeper into the wilderness with a full day of game driving along the Great Migration trails. This is mostly when you visit during migration time. Your knowledgeable driver-guide will share captivating insights into this extraordinary phenomenon, solidifying Tanzania’s reputation as Africa’s best safari destination. This UNESCO World Heritage site is alive with the sounds of over six million hooves echoing across the plains, as zebras and Thomson’s gazelles join the throng in search of fresh pastures.

Travel to the worldwide known Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s greatest wildlife havens. Descend into the crater, home to a rich variety of animals including lions, zebras, buffalo, and the rare black rhino. With its stunning scenery and dense concentration of wildlife, the Ngorongoro Crater offers an exceptional safari experience, you will have time to check the crater outside and inside with a safari vehicle.

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Depending on your flight schedule, this day’s itinerary is flexible. You may leave morning or day time.

On this day, embark on a full-day tour to Menai Bay, the ideal spot for snorkeling and relaxation on a naturally formed sandbank near Kwale Island. The Safari Blue trip is a must-do activity in Zanzibar, offering an exciting adventure in crystal-clear waters. You’ll visit stunning sandbanks, swim, and snorkel among vibrant marine life, and explore Kwale Island’s natural green lagoon.

On this day, you will have a half day visit to Stone Town, the historical and cultural hub of Zanzibar. Explore its lively streets, filled with rich architecture and iconic buildings like the Old Fort and the House of Wonders, while uncovering the town’s unique mix of African, Arabic, and European influences. Afterward, you will take a boat ride to Prison Island, where you’ll meet the famous giant Aldabra tortoises, some over a century old.

On your final morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure. If you’re not quite ready to say goodbye to Tanzania.
